Presenter at 2013 Texas District Educator's Conference - Service Through Video and Photography
I have a strong desire to share with others the benefits of using video and photography in a school setting. I gave a presentation at the 2013 TX District Educator's Conference that encouraged and inspired teachers to use video in more creative ways within their schools. The presentation gave teachers a sense of what creating an elective focused on video production and photography could do for the school as a whole. The presentation documents can be found HERE.

Student-Created Tutorials on YouTube
Two years ago, I started teaching students how to make tutorials for the student body and the YouTube community. These tutorials usually taught other students how to use an app, a physics problem, or makes sense of a science concept. Teaching students to lead in this way promoted a culture of learning, creativity, and leadership amongst our students. The fact that they post their tutorials publicly on YouTube allowed them to have an effect on many more students that just those at Prince of Peace. Three examples are shown below. Take a look at the number of views on each, pretty remarkable coming from 8th grade students.
