The Global Achievement Gap Website - A Collaborative Project
Diana, Tiffany (fellow grad students), and I worked on a website together for the purpose of understanding the Global Achievement Gap that's described in Tony Wagner's book, The Global Achievement Gap. In the end, we understood what Wagner meant by the gap in addition to finding some sources that would give evidence to this gap. We also learned the importance of 21st century skills in education. Content is key, but it's also important to work on the 4C's, creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking. If you're interested in learning more about 21st century skills and the so-called Global Achievement Gap, take a trip to the website to the right.

Personal Learning Network - Portfolios
As I researched portfolios as a alternative form of assessment at Prince of Peace, I developed a personal learning network of people specifically relating to portfolio assessment. Their resources, expertise, and stories allowed me to develop a clear picture of what portfolios might look like at our institution. The graphic to the right is a diagram of the PLN that I developed over a period of 8 weeks.

Capital Campaign Promo Video - A Campus-Wide Collaboration
This video was a collaboration of a variety of staff, alumni, and outside agencies. I shot and edited the entire project. While I can't claim credit for everything, I played a vital role in putting it all together. I executed every shot, edit, volume adjustment, and upload. In the end, the project used the skills of 3 alumni, 1 student, 3 staff members, and a 3D modeling company. The video was a jumpstart to our capital campaign, but it celebrates learning and growth at POPCS.
